Timothy Wong

Timothy Wong

Head of School

Mr. Wong has a unique blend of an entrepreneurial background and academics rooted in God’s truth and love. Serving in Christian school administration since 1996, he helped four schools move into six new campuses. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and holds two MS degrees in School Administration and Educational Leadership.

Interesting fact is that Tim accumulated over 500K frequent flyer miles before turning 25 years old working with his family business. He enjoys training for triathlons, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding, and snowboarding. His vision for Capital Christian School is to be a diverse and united community that empowers the next generation of leaders to change the world through their passion for the Lord and their compassion for others.

Lisa Chambers

Lisa Chambers

EEC Principal
Ms. Chambers has been with Capital Christian Early Education since 2000 and has many years of experience working in the field of Early Childhood Education. She has obtained an A.A. in Child Development and a B.A. degree in Social Work. She has two children who attend CCS. Her daughter attends the high school and her son attends the elementary school. “I believe that God has called me to be with children and to love and guide them. I want to be a part of challenging them to accomplish great things.” Ms. Chambers enjoys reading and spending time with her family and dogs.
Allie Carico

Allie Carico

K-8 Principal

Allie Carico has been serving in education since 2008—in administration as CCS’s Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Accreditation for the past 3 years, and as a High School principal for the previous 4 years. Prior to administration, she taught middle school, high school, was a guidance counselor and also enjoyed coaching JH & HS volleyball. She holds an MA in Educational Leadership and a BA in English Education with a minor in Communications.

Allie is an alumna of CCS (class of 2004). She has been married since 2009, and has a son and daughter who are students at CCS. She loves to run, spend time outdoors with her family, and soak in content from podcasts.

 “Why Christian education?” Mrs. Carico answers, “From a vocational standpoint, I have only ever wanted to be an educator. As a product of Christian education, I have a deep passion to partner with teachers and families to equip this generation of CCS students with a biblical worldview. I truly believe in the mission of our school; I want to see every student thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. I absolutely love kids and am thrilled to be able to pour back into a place that has poured in me!”

Chris Williams

Chris Williams

K-8 Vice Principal
Mr. Williams has been with CCS since 2010. He received his B.A. in Ministerial Studies from Epic Bible College, and is currently enrolled in a Master's Program at Grand Canyon University. He is a licensed pastor through Grace International and has been in education for over 16 years. In addition to serving as the vice principal, he teaches the middle school Bible Worship class, and is a worship leader for his church.
Julie Filer

Julie Filer

High School Principal

Dr. Filer earned her BA from Liberty University, MA from Chapman University and Ed.D. from Grand Canyon University. She holds a California Professional Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. She also holds a Professional Lifetime ACSI Teacher's Certificate and a Professional Lifetime ACSI Administrator’s certificate. Raised in Pennsylvania, Julie is a fan of all things Pittsburgh; she is married and has two daughters who are Lifers at CCS. Having served for 22 years at CCS, Julie thinks the community at Capital is what makes the school special.
